All Ireland "Minor"
1. Eoin Culleton (Laois)
The O'Moore County netminder came to his side's rescue with a 'wonderful' save to deny Wexford's Paddy Byrne in the second half at Wexford Park.
2. Donal O'Neill (Galway)
Completely nullified the considerable threat of Jamie Clarke and kept the Armagh danger man scoreless for the 70 minutes in Pearse Stadium.
3. Drew Wylie (Monaghan)
Enjoyed a ding-dong tussle with Colm McFadden and the Monaghan man was successful in frustrating the All Star's best efforts.
4. Colin Walshe (Monaghan)
Walshe has been consistency personified for the Farney County so far this season and kept Paddy McBrearty quiet in Clones.
5. Vinny Corey (Monaghan)
Went toe-to-toe with Michael Murphy and had the Donegal captain on the ropes for much of the encounter.
6. Peter Harte (Tyrone)
Hand his hands full with the lively Niall Kelly but grew in prominence as the game progressed and was a key figure as the Red Hand County steadied the ship.
7. Dessie Mone (Monaghan)
Put the Farney County on the front foot throughout the Clones clash and sent over an inspirational point in the second half.
8. Tom Flynn (Galway)
The young Galway midfielder put in a tremendous shift for Alan Mulholland's charges as they pulled the rug from under Armagh in Pearse Stadium.
9. Darren Hughes (Monaghan)
Took the game to Donegal straight from the throw-in and was a major driving force behind the Farney County's first provincial success in 25 years.
10. Matthew Donnelly (Tyrone)
Displayed commendable composure to score the game's only goal in the 10th minute at Newbridge and caused plenty of headaches for the Kildare rearguard.
11. Cillian O'Connor (Mayo)
The sooner than expected return of 'Young Footballer of the Year' O'Connor from a shoulder injury was a welcome bonus for Mayo supporters and he underlined his worth with 3-3.
12. Colm Begley (Laois)
Covered acres of ground for Justin McNulty's charges against Wexford and popped up with three crucial points from play.
13. Martin Reilly (Cavan)
Emerged from the shadows of forward colleagues Martin Dunne, Cian Mackey and Eugene Keating to register four points from play and put down a large deposit on Cavan's qualifier win over Derry.
14. Kieran Hughes (Monaghan)
Was the go-to-man as Monaghan built on their three point half-time advantage during the third quarter and raised three white flags.
15. Johnny Doyle (Kildare)
May have played his last game in the white jersey but, not for the first time in his intercounty career, the veteran forward was the Lilywhites' best performer. - See more at: http://www.hoganstand.com/ArticleForm.aspx?ID=197167#sthash.ODrSQ4Kq.dpuf
